The UKMCS is an organisation created to help advance the diagnosis and management of cardiac disease in pregnancy through awareness, education and research, in order to support the delivery of high quality, safe and equitable maternal cardiology care nationally and internationally.

Our membership represents healthcare professionals actively involved in the care of women with cardiac disease in pregnancy or research in this field. Membership of the UK Maternal Cardiology Society is divided into three categories best suited to the maternal cardiac workforce, including those retired and persons from organisations and charities involved in the support of women and families affected by cardiac disease in pregnancy.

  • UK Maternal Cardiology Society Trainee Study Day 2026

    This essential 1 day course includes eight talks and four extended case presentations that will cover key curriculum requirements for core and sub-specialty training. Topics will include the latest from MBRRACE, risk stratification, pre-conception planning, organisation of care, ICU and anaesthetic management of the pregnant patient as well as focussed talks and discussions on pregnancy associated with arrhythmia, aortopathy, pulmonary hypertension, congenital heart disease and more.
